PRIOR TO TRAINING
 
LTF Online Access
All participants will receive a username & password once registered for training.  For timely access to all training materials, participants must verify this information prior to the first day of training and are encouraged to preview the website and accessible resources.  Note: participants will gain full access to all resources after the first full day of training.
 
Payment
Schools requesting payment upon invoice are required to enter a PO number during registration.  Invoices will be sent to district finance offices once training has concluded.  If an invoice is needed earlier, please contact jsanford@kstc.com  Credit card payments are also accepted and may be made during on-line registration.   
 
Travel/Lodging
Mileage, lodging, and meals are the responsibility of each school. Check with the AdvanceKentucky AP Coordinator in your school for details.  For lodging, a discounted group rate has been arranged with a local hotel.  For more information, please visit www.advanceky.com/trainings/ltf.
 
DURING TRAINING
 
Meals
Lunch and snacks during breaks will be provided.
 
Materials
In addition to all training materials, participants will have online access to the complete catalog of LTF lessons and resources.
 
Absences
Teachers attending partial days will be assessed full registration fees.  Trainers document attendance and district contacts will be notified of any participants absent from the first day of training.  Attendance reports will be submitted to each district once training has concluded. 
 
Specific Host Site Policies
  • Children are not allowed at the training due to liability issues.
  • Smoking is not permitted on school grounds.
  • Parking will be available both in front and behind the high school.  Avoid parking on the grass or in handicapped spaces unless tag is displayed.
  
 
AFTER TRAINING
 
Access to Resources
After the first full day of training, participants will have online access to all materials and additional resources for three full years after Year One training.  Five years of additional access to all online resources will be available upon completion of the full LTF training.
 
PD Credit 
Confirmation of attendance is available by downloading attendance certificates by completing NMSI’s LTF daily evaluations on-line (details provided during training). Please check with local administrators about possible PD credit.
 
Vertical Teaming
Our content staff is available to assist AdvanceKentucky program schools with vertical team meetings and to help connect LTF lessons with AP course work.  Please direct all inquiries to ltf@kstc.com or contact your school’s subject area content coordinator.  
 
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and Substitutions

Cancellations
All cancellations must be received by the dates below to receive full or partial credit for registration fees:
  • Forty-five days prior to the first day of training for 100% credit
  • Thirty days prior to the first day of training for 50% credit 
  • Cancellations made within thirty days of the first day of training will be charged the full registration fee.  To submit a cancellation notice please visit www.advanceky.com/trainings/ltf for more information.
Substitutions
Districts have the option to provide a substitute for a registered participant who is unable to attend.  To do so, please visit the Substitutions and Cancellations policy at  www.advanceky.com/trainings/ltf and submit prior to July 1. Substitutions made after July 1, 2017 will be processed on-site. Please instruct any teacher substituted after July 1 to see an AdvanceKentucky staff member in the cafeteria prior to the start of training.
