Quote from 'ABOUT THIS LESSON' for every lesson rings true: Guided practice with challenging texts allows students to gain the proficiency necessary to read independently at or above grade level. Hmmm...This may come in handy during conference time!

I've just completed my first day of training for year one, and I agree with you completely. I look forward to utilizing LTF strategies in my classroom and am looking forward to the rest of LTF training this week!

Ditto! I am tickled that so much of what we received can be adapted for other texts! And, to think our presenter said that it only gets better from here....hold on to your socks!

Welcome, everybody! I'm excited you're here, and Prisca's presenter is right--there's a wealth of information here. Enjoy!

Well, our second day of training was even better than the first. We received good advice and guidance on how we might implement meaningful LTF strategies in the classroom.
